Fred's Mexican Cafe provides a fun atmosphere with several location in San Diego there is an opportunity to stumble upon this restaurant whether enjoying the great outdoor seating environment in Old Town San Diego or enjoying on holiday in Mexico for Spring break decor of the Gas Lamp Quarter of San Diego's Downtown area.

As for the food, I enjoyed a Mahi Fish Taco filled additionally with cabbage and tomato.  Enchilladas were also included on my plate and were quite flavorful.  The Margarita's a little on the pricey side but that's what happy hour is for.  The staff was friendly and very obliging.

Note- There is also location in Huntington Beach
