Highly recommended by the locals of San Diego is the tourist spot of Old Town San Diego, a place filled with history, eclectic vendors, Mexican Culture and of course food.  Among the spots favored by locals for tourists to check out is Old Town Mexican Cafe, home of the famous Colorado Burrito.  There are specials every day of the week and tortilla making on site.

My guest and I simply ordered burritos.  I ordered the Verde (Pork in Green Chiles) and he ordered the Colorado Burrito(Beef in Red Chiles).  Boy oh, boy I have been never happier to order puerco(pork).  Although, I tasted the delicious Colorado Burrito with a rich taste of tomato marinated into the meat, the Verde was extraordinary with flavors lingering not only on my tongue but on my lips.  The Verde is spicier than the Colorado.
