*Oyster sauce can be purchased at any Asian goods store
This recipe comes from MCCN's host Nicole L. Brown. She says a tasty way to eat greens is to first put some olive oil in a pan on high heat then add three smashed cloves of garlic. Let that sizzle for a while (3-5 minutes). Then add oyster sauce to a bowl of raw spinach. You can buy a bag of spinach from the store, it will work perfectly. Then, when the pan is hot enough ( about 3-5 min) add the spinach. It should cook until the spinach shrinks down. Plate the spinach and then eat with rice or plain. The oyster sauce and garlic also create a tasty sauce that the rice will soak up.
