"A moment on the lips. A lifetime on the hips.", is the old saying so if you are going to take the plunge into sweet decadence there is a better way. When you change some of the ingredients it is easier for your body to process. Alternative Baking Company is seeking to fill a void for vegans and vegan friendly alternatives and they are doing a fine job it hitting one cafe at a time.

I have only tried the "Colossal Chocolate Chip Cookie", however; they offer cookie_2 oatmeal, expresso, peanut butter, pumpkin double chocolate and more. The chocolate chip offering has the classic soft chewy chocolate rich flavor. There is no weird after taste. Prepare to enjoy the the less guilt free goodness.

Living in Los Angeles, I am a friend of many a vegan and I actually incorporate quite a few vegan choices in my diet. It's great when you can recognize a brand fave in an establishment as easily as you recognize Snackwells or Oreos. Moreover, it's great to have a choice.
