Both actors are Spanish. Bardem was born in born in Las Palmas de Gran Canaria, Spain and Cruz was born in San Sebastián de los Reyes, Madrid.

Two beautiful people got hitched by the names of Penelope Cruz and Javier Bardem. The couple have known each other for years having filmed a love scene together in the film Jamon Jamon back in 1992. Reunited on the Woody Allen film Vicky Cristina Barcelona, the fireworks happened and we prounouce them man and wife. The ceremony happened at a friends home.
