Last year Rupak Ginn attended the event as a juror but this year on the board. When asked what made this year's festival different, he responds "This year the quality of films is so high...We had a film fund which is a script competition which gave $10,000 to the winner to develop their script. Also we honored women executives in film at the Korn Ferry Dinner."
A host of diverse stories by independent filmmakers made their way to the big
screen this week. Actor Ravi Kapoor of Crossing Jordan is also a director. He expresses his support of IFFLA, " What I think is amazing about IFFLA is that it connects filmmakers with each other and they get a chance to inspire each. It also allows us to find an audience."
