Cookin with Lenny claims to be "Slap your mama" good and it is "Slap your papa" good too. The creamy mac and cheese may be some of the very best mac that I have consumed at a restaurant. If I needed mac & cheese from a catering company this is where I would go. The tri-tip is incredible with prominent peppercorn, onion and green pepper flavors.
Whether it is the Raspberry Chipotle Baby Back Ribs or the Smoked Whiskey Glazed Ribs, you can't go wrong. If one likes sweet and spice go for the Raspberry Chipotle. I favored this one. The flavors are unique and work well together. The Smoked Whiskey Glazed ribs are no slouch but rather a close competitor. We hear the pulled porked is pretty good but we did not sample that.
The happy ending was the innovative Boston Cream Cheese Cake. This new menu item is not guaranteed to be on the menu but it should be.
