There is nothing quite like Malibu Cafe at Calamigo Ranch. An outing there is an experience. It a perfect date location for the 1st date or old married couple. The menu has quite a of comfort food selections such as devilled eggs, pulled pork, hamburgers, fabulous eggs rolls and more. Words will scarcely do it justice. Moreover, we will leave a few surprises for your first visit there.
They say it takes a village to raise a child but it in Valley Village it takes a community to provide great word of mouth about a little restaurant with big taste called Al Amir Lebanese Restaurant. Homecooking meets top chef in this inconspicously located restaurant in a corner strip mall off of Laurel Canyon and just above Magnolia Blvd. Enter the restaurant and behold a casual yet modern chic decor. Moving on to star of any good restaurant, let's talk food. Besides the rich flavors, my dining companion and I quickly remarked about the fresh taste of the food.
Northrige, California is bustling with restaurants including Falafel Palace
boasting of Greek and Middle Eastern Foods. The place has gotten a makeover including a very attactive outdoor eating area and very comfortable spacious seating inside. Like a cafeteria, one gazes through glass barrier at your options through the window and watch the sandwich of choice whether gyro or one of the pita shawarma choices get prepared.
If you are looking for a soul food/southern cuisine paradise of to go treats including banana pudding, sweet potato pie and variety of cobblers(blackberry, peach, apple and more.)
What this place does not lack is atmosphere and fun menu items. There is live jazz at night. On Friday nights during football season, well dressed business men sit at the bar locking eyes with the flat screen tv's. The restaurant sits off a marina so the outdoor seating is complete with a view of water.
