Not every American can easily travel to Cuba; however, there are some ways to get around the restrictions. Currently, journalists, academics and people with religious purposes are the few able to go to Cuba. The reason why it is not so easy to get to Cuba is because of the continuing prohibition of travel by the American government. Although, there is an opportunity in which few have knowledge like "People to People Trips."

November 2011 was the beginning of a new era in Baltimore, Maryland — the era of the Four Seasons Hotel Baltimore  being a functioning part of the leisure and commercial landscape of the harbor-famed city. With Four Seasons' arrival, there was definitely a lot of expectations of grandeur, glamour, and posh resorting. It's nothing the Four Seasons isn't used to because it has created and branded itself to be "the standard" in the hospitality industry. Four Seasons has 86 locations in 35 cities around the world, and undoubtedly growing. So naturally, with the opening of its Baltimore location, the Multi Cultural Cooking Network wanted to know what makes the Baltimore location so different. We talked with the General Manager, Julien Carralero of the Four Seasons Hotel Baltimore to find out more.

Growing up in New York, when it was hot there were two welcome sounds I heard distinctly from the inside of my house. One was the lullaby of the ice cream truck which made kids all over my Springfield Gardens neighborhood in Queens, bolt out of screen doors and go running in extreme heat as not to miss their opportunity for a Chipwich or Nutty Buddy.

The second sound was more of a rarity, but for me, it was much more preferable than the ice cream truck. The sound was that of a simple bell which rang a few times. This sound made me scurry for change, hoping that the man on the bike who rang the bell would be stalled enough so I could get my change together for my few and far between fix of an Italian Icee—my absolute favorite.  The man on the bike would scoop out the icy treat right from his metal refrigerated cart. Inside the cart you had your choice of flavors served in the little waxy cup. I savored the little treat, squeezing the cup and  throwing my head back to make sure I was getting every drop.  

Let's get this straight...when you go to Busch Gardens you can erase any notion of this being a regular amusement park. It's more than that—it's a good old fashioned theme park and the theme is Europe! As you enter Busch Gardens, grab a map and roam through Europe (old-country style).

The kids will enjoy reading the map and going from country to country via skyride, train, or on foot. You can even take a boat-ride down the Rhine River. Best of all, if you like to experience you culture through gastronomically, in each country you'll find some multi-cultural fare for the famished.

According to the Guinness Book of Records (see certificate), this is the oldest restaurant in the world, dating from 1725. The restaurant is also mentioned in the book Fortunata y Jacinta by Benito Pérez Gald¢s (published 1886-1887) and Goya supposedly worked here before becoming a painter. Botín Restaurant, on Calle Cuchilleros Street, open to the public since 1725! The restaurant is so unique that it received a special mention from Ernest Hemingway in his famous novel The Sun Also Rises. Try their specialty dish: roasted suckling pig.

Baltimore is a smalltown big little city with diversity coming out of its ears. From African American culture to Greek, Latino, Ukranian, and so on. Festivals are a a great way to experience all the city has to offer during the city's annual Showcase of Nations beginning in June and running through October.

Savannah might not be as popular as Hot-lanta but the history and the food are reason enough to visit this gorgeous Georgia coastal town. They don't call themselves "America's Most Beautiful City" for nothing. Along with the coastal vibe, there are cobblestone streets, multitudes of azaleas, impressive oak trees, and a southern hospitality that few can rival. Nevertheless, with all the wonderful sights, Savannah has to offer, fantastic food is always a thing of beauty for foodies.

However, there are several markets in the area, and all of them are not in Baltimore City. If you are visiting Baltimore, take a short drive on I-83 North and head over to Cockeysville, where you will find a very unique market that has over 20 shops and four eateries — Pennsylvania Dutch Market at Ashland Marketplace.

I looked at the picture sent real time by her daughter who was about to shovel their driveway back home, and averted my eyes. The view of shimmering blue Caribbean in front of me was so much better. We were lounging on a catamaran deck sailing Bolongo Bay, St. Thomas, United States Virgin Islands, and sipping a Painkiller cocktail – a concoction of cheap and sweet local Cruzan rum and tropical fruit juices. The life was good!

It's been almost two days that I have been in Delhi, and on Saturday, we will go to Amritsar, then to Agra (where the Taj Mahal is located) and last, Jaipur before we leave in January. There are nine of us in my group, we have two guides and a professor, and they have worked very hard to open our eyes to viewing India in a traditional sense and a non traditional sense. Although my stay has been short up to this point, the experiences that I have gained have changed so much about my perception of everything.
