We all know that the healthiest drink for our bodies is water. Water makes 70% of our bodies; it cushions our joints, and transports oxygen and nutrients to cells in our bodies. Water encourages bowel movement and helps to defend against blood clots. Everyone should have eight 8 ounce glasses of water every day, especially if you’re an active person. Even though water is the healthiest thing you can put in your body, there are many beneficial drinks that you might want to try.

First, vegetable juice is always a good way to quench your thirst. It’s very similar to fruit juice, except with fewer calories. It is also rich in fiber, which can help you feel full and in turn eat less. Another more surprising healthy drink is black coffee. It has plenty of positive health benefits and contains no calories. Black coffee is rich in antioxidants and reduces the risk of diabetes and cancer, as well as many other health benefits.

Green tea is also very beneficial. Like coffee, green tea has a plethora of positive health benefits and contains plenty of helpful antioxidants. If consumed on a daily basis, green tea also helps to boost your metabolism.

Another healthy drink is Apple Cider Vinegar. Although it might sound repulsive, apple cider vinegar is a sort-of an “old school” health drink that was very popular in the ’70s as a weight loss tool. Although there aren’t any scientific studies that actually prove it works, many fitness gurus swear by it, saying when taken regularly, it greatly boosts your metabolism.

As you can see, there are many different and a little odd, health drinks that help us maintain strong bodies and continue to help us live healthy lives.
