Flavorful Tips for a Healthy Mardi Gras

Mardi Gras, otherwise known as Fat Tuesday is celebrated in many places all around the world including New Orleans. The Carnival celebration starts this year on January 6th, the twelfth night (the Epiphany) and ends on Fat Tuesday, the day before Ash Wednesday, March 8th. Mardi Gras is a time for eating, dancing, exchanging beads and just plain people watching.  This leaves little room for weight-watching. Here are some delicious Not-so-Fat Tuesday recipes that you can enjoy for Mardi Gras without the unwanted weight gain.
