People generally don't think of golfers as great athletes. Most of them don't look like great athletes. Tiger Woods is an exception. For many years Tigers workout was a mystery, no one knew what his workout was, there was lots of speculation, but no one knew for sure. In 2007 he let everyone know what he did to get in the shape he's in.
He starts with 30 minutes of cardio to warm up on a stationary bike. He then goes through 30 minutes of stretching with a trainer working on core muscles. The core is one of the most important things to work on for a golf swing.
