Fit Rich Woman (be Fit, be Rich), is a guide for women who want to avoid diseases like diabetes, high cholesterol and high blood pressure, through exercise and healthy eating habits that will help you stay fit and lean for life.
MCCN: Describe the program and what makes it different from others.
Malaika: I created a community of people who were interested in getting lean from a blog called “lean lifestyle systems.” This is a permanent lifestyle system to get lean and healthy and to maintain weight loss. The program explains why and how we gain fat and teaches us about our bodies and which foods we should avoid. My lean lifestyle system is not only for women. My whole family does the program, so men and young children can benefit from it too. Fit Rich Woman is just the name of the blog.
MCCN: What was your lifestyle like before you created Fit Rich Woman?
Malaika: I use to weigh 157 pounds. This was from having three kids and never losing the weight in between. We would have pizza every Friday with soda. The kids would usually also have another eat out day during the week. We spent at least $100 each week eating out.
MCCN: What can we find on your blog?
Malaika: My blog provides information on exercise moves, a check list for what you should keep regularly in your refrigerator, a list of the top 12 produce items that you must have organic and so much more.
Although Malaika is not a nutritionist or fitness trainer, her system has worked for many people, including herself and her family. Her blog gives you information on nutrition and fat loss, menu plans, very short work out routines, foodie finds and news and product reviews on equipment and gear.
