MCCN's Carla Crudup made a decision to do something different by helping at the Los Angeles Regional Food Bank this year.
Message from Carla Crudup-As we approach the holiday season, it is important to remembers those in need. As a cooking show host I entertain and inform people with food. But there are those that don't have any food and therefore it was very meaningful to me to participate in such an effort.

Someone in need is not necessarily on a park bench. With the challenging economy, job shortage and mortagage crisis many people are in need. Maybe a neighbor and you don't know. That's why it is important to remember those in need and always be willing to help or lend a hand.

Wonderful article and I always feel the attachment to Los Angeles as that is where I was born, went to school, my kids went to school. Wonderful what you are doing.
