Your Mission, should you choose to accept it is to read this whole review: From Budapest to Russia to Dubai to India, Mission Impossible 4 is
one heck of a thrill ride. Tom Cruise is back and he's got friends. The Oscar nominated Jeremy Renner, Paula Patton and Simon Pegg comprise the ensemble cast of characters. Simon Pegg is especially great with delivering sporatic comedic moments. Even Josh Holloway from the ABC series Lost, graces the screen as an agent looking like he ought to be in pictures. Both Patton and Renner are good at bringing depth and vulnerability to their characters. Say what you want about Cruise but he is a solid anchor as the IMF(Impossible Missions Force) team leader and provides his special brand of intensity to his every action scene.
The only thing somewhat lame in this film is the old, done to death, Cold War USA vs Russia storyline. However, this film is a thriller from beginning to end. There are no shortage of fight scenes, death defying stunts, car chases and gadgets. The film is clever and well done as a throw back to series ensemble Mission Impossible series concept.
The Food: After the thrilling movie, have some fun. Find a rock climbing wall near you to work up an appetite. Then unwind at a local bar, get some appetizers reflecting different culures then order some Dos Equis Beers like Tom Cruise does in the film because Agent Ethan Hunt is "...the most interesting man in the world."
