Love it when a story comes together and X-Men First Class does it with flying colors and mutants. This is a welcome interpretation of the history of the beloved characters. There's no mistaking that Michael Fassbender not only steals this show but owns the show. Scottish actor James McAvoy is excellent as Charles Xavier. The chemistry between the two actors is convincing. Rose Byrne, Bonet/Kravitz love-child Zoe Kravitz , Hollywood's new favorite blond January Jones and glad to have back to Bacon, Kevin Bacon are the other notable persons helping to make up the cast. Call me old school but I thoroughly enjoyed seeing Kevin Bacon tackle the role of villian.
Moreover, the great thing about X-Men is that is has always been about embracing being different, pride and diversity.
The Food: This is a globe trotting film. The characters travel to Argentina, Germany, France, Las Vegas, Russia, New York and more. However, the cultural standout out is Magneto's Jewish Heritage. If this is a dvd night. Jewish Potato Knishes.
