Los Angeles: Outdoor Cinema Food Fest

Outdoor Cinema Food Fest(OCFF) @ featuring the best food trucks of LA including Kabob N Roll, Lee's Philly, India Jones, Don Chow Tacos, Frysmith and Mango Tango Ice. 

This celebration has been taking place since 2003 in the small Barcelona community of Santa Sussana in a country house manor known as Can Ratés. The gala revolves around William Shakespeare, the great English playwright, and features national and international companies who give various performances of dance, music and theatre dedicated to Shakespeare.

Topanga Canyon: Merry Wives of Windsor

If ever there is a place to watch the works of Shakespeare's Merry Wives of Windsor masterfully come to life it as the Wil Geer Theatricum Botanicum in Topanga Canyon.  Having watched Shakespeare plays annually at this theatre, I can attest that watching productions by day or by night each has its charm.  However, night lends itself to intimate show lighting.

Black Rodeo Tour- Bakersfield/Los Angeles

Certainly Bill Pickett is one of those colorful characters in the history of Wild West Shows and rodeos. Theatricum Botanicum kicks off its 2010 Summer Repertory Season with two offerings from the Bard. Hamlet and A Midsummer Night's Dream will run in repertory throughout the summer in the Theatricum's 299-seat outdoor amphitheater, carved into the Topanga Canyon hillside.

Michigan: National Baby Food Festival

Taking place Wednesday July 21 -Saturday July 24, 2010 is the wacky National  Baby Food festival in Fremont, Michigan (home to the Gerber company)which gives you an excuse to bring out your inner child. Enter blindfolded baby food taste tests or take part in the baby food cook-off. I am also told that the baby crawl contest is not to be missed. This festival is geared towards family fun.
