Livigno Resort, a ski resort located in Sondrio Italy, hosts the annual international Art in Ice competition, where ten teams of three sculptors compete to transform three-metre blocks of pressed snow into works of art. This year's theme is "Art in Ice for Fashion" There are no limitations to what the artist can create using manual tools. No chainsaws allowed in this competition. The Art in Ice competition runs from November 30th-December 4th, with ice carvings on display until March (weather permitting).
