Movie #2 Should the Wife Confess? Directed by Bernardo Camisao and produced by Sofia Caessa. Is a dark comedy short about a woman, her marriage, and her talent for cooking. The character's narration of intertwining cooking ingredients with the way she felt about her marriage made for an excellent recipe. The Dish Nothing was served from this movie and once you view the trailer you will see why.

Mistura; The Power of Food Directed and Produced by Patricia Perez is a film that takes a trip to Lima, Peru for the fourth edition of Mistura.Mistura is a gastronomic festival that brings together top chefs in a competition to provide the best food in their category. To win a prize at Mistura is compared to winning an Oscar in Hollywood.
While the backdrop of the documentary was the festival, five characters were portrayed to show the personalities behind the aprons. From the potato farmer that grows 183 types of potatoes (one of which is used by Lays Potato Chips) to the chef who’s customers call to hold their place in line for her anticuchos,this film is full of heart, fun, and of course food.
The Dish
The audience was first served a classic ceviche and then served a Peruvian favorite, Anticuchos.
The Second Annual Chicago Film Festival will take place in November 18th-20th.
