Brazilians tend to prefer simple breakfast comprising of coffee, milk, bread and jam, sometimes cheese and ham, with fresh fruit also. There may be mangoes, papayas, watermelons and avocado cream in addition to all those. The side dishes may vary with the city you are dwelling in.

As for the Bed & Breakfast experience in Brazil, Bed and breakfast is rarely used as a term in Brazil. However,  in the country there are magnificent properties that fully correspond to the definition of a B&B. More often such properties are referred to as guest houses. These are the so called pousadas. In most cases Brazilian pousadas (B&B) are colorful properties, tucked away amidst a lush in greenery garden or hidden behind the walls of a colonial style home.
