Nicole Scherzinger was born June 29, 1978 in Honolulu Hawaii to a father of Filipino descent and mother of Russian and Hawaiian descent. She is most recognized as the lead singer of the Pussy Cat Dolls. What makes this Pop Diva interesting? Scherzinger started out as a back up singer from WB’s hit television show PopStars landing her a spot as a main vocalist for Eden’s Crush in 2001. From there Scherzinger was offered a spot as the fourth member for The Black Eyed Peas. Since her contract was still in process with Eden’s Crush the position was later given to Fergie.
