Basil Thai is a Thai restaurant located on 701 South Gregory Street in Urbana. They are open for business everyday from 11:00am-9:30pm, and it is one of the only Thai restaurants within walking distance from the University of Illinois main campus. Hence, this is a popular place for students during lunch and dinner hours.

It has only been open a few months, but Naf Naf Grill has already developed a loyal following for their authentic Middle Eastern cuisine. Upon entering it appears to be a typical casual dining establishment, but the authentic food is creating quite the buzz.

 David Burke's Primehouse
Sure, David Burke's may be known for its expertise in the meat department, but executive chef Rick Gresh also knows a thing or two about oceanic fare. The chopped seafood salad ($9/$16) featuring shrimp, tuna, avocado, cucumbers, corn, tomatoes, mango and mixed greens with a citrus dressing should make for a satisfying lunch. And though you won't be splurging on a steak for dinner, you can still indulge with one of the chilled seafood platters (featuring shrimp, oysters, mussels, crab, salmon tartare and calamari salad, $39/$72).

Diners are saying yes to Nonna, and partners/chefs/cousins John Giannini and Steve Marti respond with comforting dishes and imaginative flavors not likely found at  Americanized Italian restaurants.  They rachet up the hospitality by stepping out of the kitchen every so often to mingle with their audience.

Since 1962, Roberto's has promised and delivered nothing more than exceptionally good food at reasonable rates.  The menu abounds with classical Italian favorites, prepared from family recipes by an Italian chef.  No frills, gimmicks, boasts or ballyhoo.
