Really great place to check out is a new Cajun Creole restaurant that opened up in East Atlanta. Please come check it out it is called Nawlins and it is located at 1271 Glenwood Avenue. The food is fantastic and the prices are even better
Famed rapper/producer/business mogul Sean Combs (aka P. Diddy) owns two
Justin's restaurants; one in Atlanta and one in New York. The one in Atlanta is conveniently located downtown on Peachtree street. Parking is free however there is a short walk from the parking lot to the entrance of the restaurant.
Verde Taqueria, a new and busy taco place in Brookhaven, caught my eye on the way home from checking out heavy bags at Sports Authority (I was in the mood to punch things, but that's a story for another time). The clean, modern design and the leafy logo screamed one thing to me: Fresh. And that's what I was in the mood to eat.
When it comes to chain restaurants, I'm picky. I have a hard time giving credit to restaurants that have their menus created hundreds of miles from the kitchen by a few chefs and a marketing team. However, there are a few that I admire and am not ashamed to admit eating at.
There's something so desolate about a healthy food option in the vast sea of chain and franchise restaurants. The parking lot had a few scattered cars in it, not enough to feed me the reassurance that the store was actually open, but enough to keep me walking toward the door. To my delight, Lettuce Souprise You was still in business and open for operation.
